Moderated by Jake Cowan of the Urban Libraries Council, the panel is comprised of library leaders and Edge Coalition members who will share their perspectives on the Edge Initiative. Panelists include:

• Susan Allen, Director of Technology Services at Worthington Libraries (OH), and spotlighted on TechSoup for Libraries
• John Bertot, Edge Coalition Member and Professor at Maryland’s iSchool
• Bob Bocher, Edge Coalition Member, ALA OITP Fellow and Library Technology Consultant with the Wisconsin State Library
• Marcia Johnson, Library Director, Miami Public Library (OK), and Edge Pilot Library

What is Edge?

The Edge Initiative is a suite of tools to help libraries elevate their public technology services. Libraries that use the Edge benchmarks can evaluate their services against their peers and learn how to improve them. Future Edge tools include resources to help libraries communicate results to stakeholders and turn data into investments in public technology.
