Where:
Online
Duration:
Two hours
During this two hour "23 Things" Summit, successful program organizers from around the nation will share best practices and lessons learned. "23 Things" is a revolutionary staff development learning concept centered on social collaboration tools, such as blogs and wikis. Originally implemented by Helene Blowers while at the Public Library of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County, thousands of libraries and library organizations have adapted the idea for their staff.

Participants will be able to ask questions and seek advice for implementing their own self-directed "23 Things" style program. If you are involved with library training, if you are thinking about implementing a 23 things style program, or if you have already implemented a 23 things style program and want to share what you've learned, we'd love for you to join this discussion! MaintainITWebJunctionthe State Library of Kansas, and the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library have collaborated to create this unique event.

Have a story to tell?

Tell us about your daily routine maintaining public computers, or a moment when you were particularly proud. Don't forget that what might be "that's nothing" to you may be an "aha!" to someone else!
